Schedule:

• This position is part time depending on the business needs and performance
• Additional hours may be available during peak times or when covering for other staff
• Hours may increase during busy seasons and may decrease during slower periods
• Flexibility is required to help cover shifts when needed

Availability Requirements:

• Weekdays
• Weekends (rotating after hour weekends required)
• Holidays are required (animal care is 365 days a year) Primary responsibilities:
• Clean and maintain facility
• kennels and common areas
• Mopping, sanitizing, and general facility cleaning throughout the day
• Feeding and watering dogs and cats according to instructions
• Walking dogs and supervising playtimes
• Bathing dogs, nail trims, ear cleaning, anal glad expression
• Monitoring animal behavior and reporting concerns
• Providing hands on attention, care, and affection
• Works well with other team members
• Follow all care instructions and facility procedures
• Take pride in your work
• Ability to stand, walk, bend and lift throughout shift
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays
• Reliable, punctual, and self motivated
• Previous animal care experience is a plus, but not required
