Duties Perform pet grooming services including bathing, brushing, hair trimming, styling, and pet coat maintenance to meet individual breed standards and owner preferences Handle animals with care, ensuring proper restraint and safety during grooming procedures Conduct pet nail trimming, ear cleaning, and other hygiene-related grooming tasks to promote health and comfort Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand grooming requests and provide advice on pet coat care and maintenance Maintain a clean, organized grooming station while adhering to sanitation protocols and safety guidelines Assist with animal handling during grooming appointments, ensuring gentle yet secure restraint for pets of all sizes and temperaments Support additional animal care activities such as kennel cleaning, pet sitting, or light veterinary assistance when needed Requirements Proven experience in pet grooming, dog handling, or animal care roles such as veterinary technician or assistant is highly preferred Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary procedures related to animal handling and restraint Familiarity with pet coat styling, pet nail trimming, and animal restraint methods Strong communication skills for engaging with pet owners about grooming needs and animal health considerations Ability to lift heavy loads safely when handling large or heavy pets during grooming or kennel duties Previous experience with veterinary or kennel environments is a plus Passion for animal welfare combined with excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for clients and their pets This is an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals who love working with animals and want to contribute to their well-being through expert grooming. Pay:
