The ideal candidate for this position must have superb handling skills and a great personality and able to embrace change. Seeking a person who can follow instructions clearly and has a passion for doing their best possible work while embracing a positive attitude.

Qualifications:

• Must have a positive attitude and thrive in a team environment including respecting the shop, employees, clients and dogs.
• Must be willing to help wherever you are needed and take direction well.
• Must be able to switch gears and multitask at any moment. Day to day operations can change due to cancellations and life events.
• Must have great attention to detail, strong grooming skills and able to take on any breed.
• Must have knowledge of skin/coat types and which products to use and when.
• Must have 2 or more years grooming experience.
• Must include portfolio and or samples of finished grooms along with resume.
• Must be willing to learn new techniques and keep up on continued education.
• Must be able to perform grooming services from start to finish. These services include bathing, prepping, fluff drying and trimming. Good finish work is a must.
• Must be able to converse with clients to get a good understanding of what they want. Communication must be strong. We have the best clients!
• Must have very gentle and patient handling skills we have a lot of nervous and senior pets that need extra love.
• Must have strong references.
