The ideal candidate for this position must have superb handling skills and a great personality and able to embrace change. Seeking a person who can follow instructions clearly and has a passion for doing their best possible work while embracing a positive attitude.

Qualifications:

Must have a positive attitude and thrive in a team environment including respecting the shop, employees, clients and dogs.
Must be willing to help wherever you are needed and take direction well.
Must be able to switch gears and multitask at any moment. Day to day operations can change due to cancellations and life events.
Must have great attention to detail, strong grooming skills and able to take on any breed.
Must have knowledge of skin/coat types and which products to use and when.
Must have 2 or more years grooming experience.
Must include portfolio and or samples of finished grooms along with resume.
Must be willing to learn new techniques and keep up on continued education.
Must be able to perform grooming services from start to finish. These services include bathing, prepping, fluff drying and trimming. Good finish work is a must.
Must be able to converse with clients to get a good understanding of what they want. Communication must be strong. We have the best clients!
Must have very gentle and patient handling skills we have a lot of nervous and senior pets that need extra love.
Must have strong references.
