Brush and care for all coat types and conditions, including: De-shedding De-matting Fluffing Stretch drying General coat preparation Demonstrate knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming needs. Safely handle dogs of various sizes, breeds, coat types, and temperaments. Perform anal gland expressions. Trim and grind nails. Follow safe, compassionate, and high-quality bathing practices. Manage your own bathing schedule efficiently. Assist groomers with preparation and other salon duties as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Experience Required At least 6 months of professional dog bathing experience in a salon setting. Strong knowledge of dog breeds and grooming requirements. Experience handling dogs with different temperaments and behavioral needs. Comfortable bathing, blow drying, brushing, and prepping dogs with minimal supervision. Experience trimming and filing/grinding nails. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Reliable, punctual, detail-oriented, and willing to continue learning.
