• Job Summary
• We are seeking an experienced Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with animals and providing top-notch grooming services to our furry clients. This is a family friendly salon, looking for a team player, friendly and positive demeanor with excellent pet handling skills. Must be gentle with pets at all times.
• Responsibilities
• Handle animals with care and ensure their safety and comfort throughout the grooming process
• Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling pets
• Assess pets' skin, coat, and overall health issues or abnormalities during grooming sessions
• Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their preferences and address any concerns
• Monitor and report any behavioral or health concerns observed during grooming
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the salon
• Assist with scheduling appointments and updating client's pet profiles
• Willingness to assist with ad-hoc tasks as required
• Willingness to attend seminars and obtain certificates to stay up to date with best practices in pet industry
• Skills
• Minimum 4 year experience in dog grooming (strong knowledge of grooming techniques of all breeds)
• Excellent in dog handling techniques
• Passion for pet care and ensuring the well-being of animals
• Must be a team player and have a positive attitude
• Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
