Paradise Doggie Daycare is the #1 rated Pet care facility in Amador County. We are seeking a new employee to join our team. We are a family run business and treat our employees as such. This can be an extremely rewarding job. Paradise also rescues and re-homes Coonhounds and Bloodhounds in need for ABTCR. Duties include managing a large pack of dogs, leash walking, playing, bathing, feeding, and LOTS of cleaning. This is an extremely physically intense job with lots of bending, kneeling and walking. You must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Previous experience is extremely helpful.

Hourly Compensation:

$16.90 per Hour or more Depending on

Experience Employment Type:

Part to Full Time This position is for 5:00 am to 1:00 pm, 4 days a week.

Pet Care Associate:

Be part of our team that provides high quality care for our canine guests, ensuring they are properly monitored and cared for in all situations. Position responsibilities include but are not limited to: Must have passion and love for all canines. Must have an upbeat personality with excellent people skills, dogs love smiling happy humans. Great multi-tasking abilities. You must be comfortable handling all sizes and breeds of dogs. Cleaning and sanitizing kennels and play areas Interacting with Pet Parents when dropping off or picking up their pets Bathing, nail trimming & brushing Monitoring and managing groups of dogs Standing and working outside for long periods of time. Safely and effectively handling of the dogs. Education and/or

Experience:

Must be comfortable handling and being around all dog sizes.

High School Diploma Ideal Candidates:

Dependable and flexible Able and willing to work on weekends and major holidays Able and willing to work as early as 5:00AM or as late as 10:00PM This Position is for 5:00 am to 1:00 pm Dog Lover/ Pet lover Must have a positive attitude Not allergic to dogs, cats or any cleaning products Not sensitive to loud noises Have some knowledge or experience about dogs Able and willing to conduct physically demanding tasks, including lots of walking and being on your feet most of the day Have great communication skills Willingness to learn and develop new skills If you are interested, please send us your resume!
