EveryDog is a force-free dog daycare, boarding, training, and grooming facility in Orange County. We are 100% positive-based and committed to providing exceptional care for every dog that walks through our doors. We are looking for dependable, punctual, sharp, and proactive people who want to become long-term members of our team. Experience working with dogs is welcome, but it is not required . In fact, some of our strongest team members came to us with no professional dog experience at all. What matters much more to us is reliability, attitude, attention to detail, good judgment, coachability, and initiative. We can teach dog handling skills. We need people who consistently show up ready to work, learn quickly, notice what needs to be done, and don't need to be constantly told what to do next. This position requires consistent availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Our dogs depend on us 365 days a year, so reliability and consistent attendance are essential parts of this position. This is a part-time position but may grow into a full-time position. What We're Looking For Dependable and consistent attendance Punctuality — being ready to work when your shift begins Strong attention to detail and situational awareness Initiative and the ability to recognize what needs to be done without always being asked Strong communication skills A positive attitude and willingness to receive feedback and learn Good judgment in a fast-paced environment Team members who help each other rather than simply focusing on their own assigned tasks People looking for a long-term opportunity with room to grow Responsibilities Supervise small playgroups using force-free handling and positive reinforcement techniques Closely observe dog behavior and ensure dogs remain safe, engaged, and enriched throughout the day Clean — a lot! Maintaining an exceptionally clean and sanitary facility is a major part of this job Feed meals and administer medications accurately Assist with bathing and basic grooming tasks as needed Capture photos and videos for social media and client communication Communicate important information clearly with other team members Notice what needs attention and take initiative rather than waiting to be given the next task Look for ways to improve our environment and contribute positively to the team What the Job Is Really Like This is an active, hands-on position , not a job where you simply play with dogs all day. You will spend long periods of time on your feet, walking, cleaning, bending, lifting, supervising dogs, and staying mentally engaged with what is happening around you. The work can be physically demanding, messy, fast-paced, and incredibly rewarding. Growth at EveryDog At EveryDog, we believe in investing in people who invest in us. Team members who consistently demonstrate reliability, initiative, strong judgment, and excellent performance will have opportunities to take on additional responsibility, develop new skills, and advance into leadership positions. If you're someone others can count on, take pride in doing things well, notice what needs to be done, and are looking for a place where you can grow and stay for the long term, we'd love to hear from you. Resumes are required. Cover letters are encouraged. We look forward to meeting you.
