Full Job Description Responsibilities:

MUST BE AVAILABLE WEEKENDS

• Supervise and monitor dogs in a daycare setting to ensure their safety and well-being
• Provide basic grooming services, such as brushing and bathing, as needed
• Clean and sanitize play areas, kennels, and equipment to maintain a clean and healthy environment for the dogs
• Assist with feeding and providing fresh water to the dogs according to their individual dietary needs
• Monitor dog behavior and intervene in any aggressive or unsafe situations

Skills:

• Passion for working with dogs and providing them with a safe and stimulating environment
• Ability to handle dogs of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments with confidence and patience
• Strong observation skills to quickly identify signs of stress, illness, or behavioral issues in dogs
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact coworkers, and supervisors
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) when assisting with dog handling or moving equipment
