We need a reliable, detail-oriented animal-care professional who can help provide the skilled, consistent care they deserve. This is an immediate opening with the opportunity to move into an Animal Care Manager position for the right person. We are open seven days a week and need dependable coverage every day through noon. The primary need is for morning shifts, generally 8:00 a.m.-12:00 noon, with some flexibility for weekend and occasional additional coverage. Applicants must live reasonably close to Celebration, since dependable attendance and the ability to help when staffing changes are essential.
Responsibilities include:

Experience with cats, diabetes, senior animals, chronic illness, and medication administration is especially valuable. This is not an entry-level "playing with animals" position. It is physically active, detail-oriented work requiring calm judgment, kindness, reliability, and the ability to work independently. We need someone who understands that sanctuary animals need skilled care every single day, including weekends. Pay is based on experience, generally beginning around $16-$17 per hour, with the management position considered separately based on qualifications. References and a background check are required. To apply, please send a résumé and briefly describe your animal care/veterinary experience. Please include the word "animals" in your reply so we know you read this entire post.
