Small World Puppies in New Port Richey, Florida is looking for a dependable, hardworking animal lover to join our team as a Part-Time Kennel Attendant caring for our Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and puppies.

Schedule:

Saturday, Sunday & Monday:

8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Additional flexible weekday mornings: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM Responsibilities include: Feeding and providing fresh water Cleaning and sanitizing kennels, play areas and equipment Laundry and general kennel housekeeping Letting dogs outside and supervising play/exercise Assisting with puppies and routine daily care Keeping all dog areas exceptionally clean, organized and comfortable Observing the dogs and communicating any changes or concerns Applicants must: Have reliable transportation to and from work Be dependable and punctual Be available for the required Saturday, Sunday and Monday schedule Be comfortable working with dogs of all ages Be able to safely lift and carry up to 25 pounds Be comfortable with bending, standing, walking and other physical activities involved in kennel care Be willing and able to pass a background check as a condition of employment Understand that cleaning and sanitation are a major part of this position—this job isn't just playing with puppies! Previous kennel, veterinary, grooming, boarding or other animal-care experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person. Because our dogs require care 365 days a year, some holiday availability will also be required.
