Pet Sitter — Stone Mountain / Tucker Area

Entry-Level JobVerifiedNo experience needed

Job Description

Pet Sitter / Dog Walker — Stone Mountain / Tucker Area 2 Paws Up Inc. | Part-Time | Supplemental Income Professional Pet Care, Not an App. 2 Paws Up Inc. has been Gwinnett County's trusted pet sitting and dog walking team since 2003. We're not a gig app — every one of our pet sitters is a background-checked, trained, W-2 employee , not a contractor juggling five other platforms. If you love animals and want flexible, meaningful part-time work in your own neighborhood, we'd love to meet you. We're currently looking for a Pet Sitter to cover the Stone Mountain (30087, 30083) and Tucker (30084) area. What You'll Do Visit clients' homes for dog walks, potty breaks, and pet sitting visits throughout the day (morning, midday, evening) Provide food, fresh water, medication (if needed), and plenty of love and attention Send clients photo/journal updates from every visit through our app, Time To Pet Follow each pet's individual care instructions to keep their routine consistent Represent 2 Paws Up with professionalism in clients' homes and neighborhoods What We're Looking For Preferably located in zip code 30087, 30083, or 30084 — living nearby keeps your drive time between visits (and from home to your first visit) short, so more of your time is paid, hands-on time with pets, not time spent in the car Comfortable and confident around dogs and cats of different sizes and temperaments Reliable, punctual, and comfortable managing a daily schedule Able to pass a background check Have a reliable insured vehicle and valid driver's license Comfortable using a smartphone app for scheduling and visit updates Prior pet care experience is a plus, but not required — we provide training Pay & Perks Starting pay: $12/hour , with increases up to $14+/hour Tips from happy clients IRS mileage reimbursement for travel between visits Bonuses Flexible schedule across the day (7am-9pm) — great as supplemental income alongside another job, school, or as a side gig that doesn't feel like a "gig" Paid, hands-on training Work independently in your own community, with a real team backing you up You'll Be a W-2 Employee, Not a 1099 Contractor This is a real employee position — not gig work.
That means:
We withhold and pay your taxes — no surprise tax bill, no quarterly estimated payments to track on your own We pay the employer half of Social Security and Medicare taxes , so more of what you earn actually goes toward take-home pay, not self-employment tax Workers' compensation coverage if you're ever injured on the job Unemployment insurance eligibility , which 1099 contractors don't have A guaranteed hourly wage for your visits — not dependent on surge pricing or an algorithm deciding what you're worth that day A real team behind you — if you're sick or have car trouble, we cover your visits so clients are never left without care, and you're never on the hook alone Schedule Part-time, with availability needed throughout the day, 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM . Visits are scheduled around your availability within the Stone Mountain/Tucker service area — you don't need to be free the whole window, but the more of it you can cover, the more visits we can offer you. About 2 Paws Up Inc. Since 2003, we've provided professional pet sitting, dog walking, and dog training services throughout Gwinnett County, built on trained, insured, and bonded employees rather than app-based contractors. We treat every pet like family — and we treat our team the same way. Ready to turn your love of animals into a paycheck? Apply today.
