Pet Care Specialist:

We are now adding a staff member for the

EVANSTON AREA

Wilmette, Winnetka, Skokie, Niles, Morton Grove. This is part-time, supplemental income only (not full time). Based on your availability, visits are scheduled as early as 8:00 a.m. and can run as late as 7:30 p.m. A candidate with consistent availability and car is preferred at this time. Cozy Cats & Daily Dogs services South Loop to Winnetka along the lake, but you would not be expected to service all those communities.

Compensation:

$15 - $22 / hour - estimated hourly pay rate based on previous pay roles

PLUS TIPS

; piece-work pay is paid by piece and measured by half-hour increments. $100-$300 per week 100% client tips (after tax) Education tuition reimbursement: Pet CPR, First Aid, or Fear-Free/Force-Free certifications are reimbursed up to $200. Other opportunities are open for discussion. Bonuses for gas, work anniversaries, excellent performance, holiday work and supporting your other team members. Free cat care (up to 10 days per year) after 90 days.

The responsibilities:

Provide detailed and attentive care for our client's cats Check client's plants and mail Give our clients first-class customer service with a personal touch Communicate with clients and staff via Time to Pet software app Travel to our key-drop locations upon request The ideal candidate: Is an honest, patient, and enthusiastic candidate who can provide our clients' cats with the high-quality loving care. Has a detail-oriented mindset with a strong understanding of safety, cleanliness and time management. Previous professional or volunteer experience with animals is great, but a positive attitude and a desire to learn are tops. You enjoy an active work environment, traveling and working independently in all four seasons. This is an excellent opportunity for people looking to start a career or grow their current professional experience with cats. Bonus points if you have shots, pills, gels/med experience. Need to be available holidays (can alternate Christmas and Thanksgiving). Need to have smartphone or iPhone and be super-responsive to communication to be a good fit for us.
