Animal Caretaker (Full or Part-time)

Job Description We are looking to hire for the position of Animal Caretaker, for a non-profit animal shelter. This position works daily with cats. Experience preferred, but not required. Clean kennels and crates each day Feed and water cats throughout the day General animal upkeep, monitoring habits Works well in a team environment Ensure animals are safe, and well cared for Must be able to lift 50 lbs Assist visitors in meeting adoptable pets The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Work is generally performed in a shelter environment. Candidates with strong interpersonal skills would excel in this position. The candidate must be professional, reliable, diligent, and willing to get dirty.
