Join the Animal Adventures Team! Part-Time Animal Caretakers & Educators — Opportunity for Full-Time Employment Do you love exotic animals, enjoy working outdoors, and want a job that is anything but ordinary? Animal Adventures is looking for motivated, dependable, and hardworking individuals to join our team of animal caretakers and educators at our Bolton and Hubbardston, Massachusetts locations. This is a great opportunity to start part-time and grow into a full-time position as you gain experience, demonstrate your abilities, and become an integral part of our team. We are looking for serious candidates who are eager to learn, take pride in their work, and are passionate about providing exceptional care to our animals. What You'll Do As an Animal Caretaker and Educator, you will play an important role in the daily care of our rescued exotic animals and our educational mission.
Responsibilities include:
Feeding animals and maintaining clean, safe, and enriching enclosures. Following detailed animal-care procedures and instructions. Assisting with the daily operations of our rescue and educational center. Leading educational tours and hands-on animal presentations for the public. Traveling to schools, daycares, libraries, colleges, birthday parties, and other events to deliver educational programs. Providing friendly, professional customer service to our visitors and program participants. Working as part of a team in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. Who We're Looking For The ideal candidate is energetic, responsible, hardworking, and genuinely passionate about exotic animals. We value people who use good judgment, pay attention to detail, and understand that proper animal care requires consistency, dedication, and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older. High school diploma or equivalent. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to lift at least 50 pounds unassisted. Ability to kneel, bend, crouch, reach, climb a ladder, and work in tight areas when necessary. Open availability, including weekends and holidays, is strongly preferred. Prior experience with exotic animals, animal care, education, or customer service is a plus, but a willingness to learn is essential. Part-Time Now. Full-Time Potential. We are primarily seeking part-time employees who are interested in the opportunity to grow into full-time positions. Candidates with flexible schedules and a strong commitment to the job are encouraged to apply. This is a hands-on position where you will gain valuable experience working with a wide variety of exotic animals while helping educate the public about wildlife, conservation, and responsible animal care.
