Also, someone who truly enjoys spending time with dogs and who is internally motivated to provide a very high quality of care to our dogs and their owners. We are primarily looking for afternoon shift coverage, however some mornings may be available . Employees are expected to arrive on time to scheduled shifts, work well, and communicate clearly Care for dogs including but not limited to: checking animals in and out as their owners drop them off; feeding and watering dogs; socializing dogs/monitoring play sessions; maintaining high standards of sanitation and playroom hygiene (including cleaning up dog messes). Interacting with customers including but not limited to: speaking to them on the phone, scheduling them for dacyare, collecting daycare payments, asking for updated vaccinations Cleaning the daycare and lobby premises on a routine basis. We are always interested in candidates who are looking to grow into leadership roles within the company Qualifications Prior related work experience (at daycares, kennels, etc) is preferred Most important characteristics are honesty, dependability, good work ethic, and clear communication style. Other Notes Pay competitive w/ industry and commensurate with experience. Melrose is a Monday thru Friday facility, with most major holidays (and some minor) off.
