Dog Walker - Northern Severna Park Tails on Trails is looking for a dependable, energetic dog lover to join our professional dog-walking team! We are currently hiring a part-time Dog Walker to serve Northern Severna Park and approximately a 5-mile radius. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, being outdoors, staying active, and—of course—spending their day with dogs. Unlike gig-style pet sitting, Tails on Trails serves recurring weekday clients , so you'll get to know the dogs on your route and build relationships with them over time. What You'll Do Provide scheduled dog walks and pet visits in clients' homes Follow each dog's individual care and walking instructions Provide fresh water, treats, feeding, or other basic care as requested Send clients an update after each visit Maintain safe handling practices while dogs are in your care Communicate promptly with management regarding schedule changes or concerns Travel between clients within your assigned Northern Severna Park territory We're Looking for

Someone Who Is:

Available Monday through Friday 9:30-3:00 Dependable and punctual—our clients and their dogs count on us! Comfortable handling dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities Comfortable working independently Physically able to walk for extended periods and work outdoors in varying weather Comfortable using a smartphone for scheduling, communication, and visit updates Friendly, professional, and respectful in clients' homes Able to commit to a consistent weekly schedule Requirements Applicants must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, a smartphone, and live in or very near Northern Severna Park . Because visits take place in clients' homes, reliability and trustworthiness are extremely important. Previous professional dog-walking or pet-care experience is a plus, but we're happy to train the right person . We're much more interested in finding someone who is dependable, responsible, comfortable with dogs, and genuinely enjoys this type of work. We're not a pet-sitting app—we're a local, established company with a team of professional walkers and long-term clients. Our focus is providing dependable weekday care while building lasting relationships with the dogs and families we serve.
