Overview We are growing! Join our vibrant team as a Dog Groomer! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional grooming services in our busy salon. You will be expected to build trusting relationships with dog owners and ensure every dog receives the best possible care in a friendly, professional environment. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills in animal handling, grooming techniques and overall customer service while working with a team committed to animal well-being and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, clipping, and styling to meet owner preferences and breed standards. Handle dogs safely and confidently using proper animal restraint techniques to ensure comfort and safety during grooming. Conduct nail trimming, ear cleaning and other grooming tasks with precision and care. Communicate clearly with pet owners about grooming needs and/or concerns to foster trust and satisfaction. Maintain a clean and organized grooming salon, including sanitizing tools and work areas after each appointment. Ensure gentle yet effective management of pets of all sizes and temperaments. Support other team members with various kennel/salon tasks as needed to promote overall facility cleanliness and animal comfort. Qualifications Must love dogs! A desire to work, a prompt nature and a friendly attitude are required. Prior experience in pet grooming is required ; certification is a plus. Newly trained groomers are welcome to apply. Strong dog handling and restraint skills with the ability to manage animals kindly and safely during grooming and while in our care. Ability to follow specific policies and procedures in place for the safety and welfare of the dogs in our care and the business in general. Ability to perform heavy lifting, as large dogs are always welcome in our salon. Pay:

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 32.0 per week
