Position Overview Pierson Pet Hospital is seeking a talented and compassionate Pet Groomer to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about animal care, takes pride in their grooming skills, and enjoys building relationships with both pets and their owners. We are looking for a groomer who values patience, safety, and providing a positive grooming experience for every pet. Responsibilities Perform bathing, brushing, drying, haircuts, nail trims, anal glands, and ear cleaning Groom dogs and cats according to breed standards or owner requests Safely handle pets during grooming procedures Monitor pets for skin conditions, lumps, parasites, or health concerns and communicate findings to the veterinary team Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming equipment and work areas Communicate professionally with clients regarding grooming needs and recommendations Ensure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for throughout the grooming process Work collaboratively with veterinary, boarding, and reception staff Maintain accurate medical records.
