Duties Perform professional grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and nail clipping tailored to each dog's breed and individual needs Handle dogs safely and confidently using proper animal restraint techniques to ensure comfort and security during grooming procedures Assess each pet's health and behavior, alerting pet owners or veterinary staff of any concerns or abnormalities Maintain a clean and organized grooming station, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and ready for use Provide pet handling and training support to help dogs stay calm and cooperative throughout the grooming process. Engage with pet owners professionally, explaining grooming procedures and offering pet care advice to enhance customer satisfaction Skills Strong animal handling skills with experience in dog training, veterinary assistance, or pet sitting Knowledge of veterinary procedures, animal restraint techniques, and pet grooming standards Ability to lift heavy objects safely (heavy lifting) when handling large or energetic dogs Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and address their needs confidently Experience with kennel management or animal care environments is a plus Familiarity with veterinary technician or assistant roles enhances your ability to recognize health issues early Passion for animal welfare combined with a lively, motivated attitude that fosters positive interactions with pets and clients Join us in creating happy, healthy pets by applying your grooming talents in a dynamic setting where every day brings new opportunities to make a difference!
