Pet Groomer Job Summary The main role of a Petropolis Pet Groomer is to is to administer salon services for pets at our facility including bathing, trimming, brushing, and add-ons. Groomers are also expected to help with other grooming department duties such as handling check-ins and departures, taking phone calls, cleaning, and managing appointments through our computer system. These essential functions include:

Bathing, brushing, and trimming dogs Scheduling services through our client management software Providing a pleasant experience for all customers and ensure that they leave feeling happy Answering grooming related phone calls Cleaning within the grooming department

Skills & Abilities Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent or higher.

Experience:

Two or more years of past grooming experience. Trimming experience is preferred.

Computer Skills:

Proficient keyboard skills.

Customer Service:

Able to create pleasant interactions with customers.

Pet Experience:

A basic understand of dog/cat communication and behavior is essential. www.petropolis.com
