Responsibilities Provide attentive animal care by feeding, watering, and monitoring pets throughout the day Assist with pet bathing. Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques and ensure their comfort during interactions Maintain cleanliness of kennels, cages, and common areas through regular sanitization and cleaning routines Support pet boarding services by supervising outdoor activities and ensuring animals are secure and happy Assist with pet sitting duties, including walking dogs, administering medications, and observing behavior changes Engage in animal handling activities to promote positive behavior and reduce stress during care procedures Support team lifting efforts when moving large or heavy animals or equipment safely Skills Experience in pet sitting, dog training, or animal handling to ensure safe interactions Knowledge of animal restraint techniques and behavior management strategies Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during kennel cleaning or equipment setup Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and visitors Experience with pet grooming, sanitation practices, and facility sanitization protocols Outdoor work experience to handle pets during outdoor walks or playtime in various weather conditions Familiarity with animal behavior to assess needs and respond appropriately in different situations

Pay:

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
