In this vital role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional grooming and bathing services to a variety of animals, ensuring they look and feel their best. Your enthusiasm for animal care, combined with your attention to detail and gentle handling skills, will help create a positive experience for both pets and their owners. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with animals, develop your grooming expertise, and contribute to the overall well-being of our furry friends. Duties Safely bathe, dry, and groom animals, including pet coat styling and pet grooming tasks Handle animals with care using proper animal restraint techniques to ensure safety for pets and staff Perform pet nail trimming, ear cleaning, and other basic pet care procedures Assist in appointment management and phone answering Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding grooming needs and aftercare instructions Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, including kennel cleaning and equipment sanitation Support groomers and assist as necessary Experience Experience in dog training, dog handling, or animal handling highly desirable Knowledge of animal restraint techniques and pet care best practices required Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with pet owners Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Join us in making a difference in the lives of animals by providing compassionate grooming services!
