Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Pet Bather to join our team. As a Pet Bather, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and well-being of our furry clients. If you have a passion for animals and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, we would love to hear from you.

Duties:

Bathe and groom pets according to specific instructions and breed requirements
Handle and restrain animals safely and securely during bathing procedures
Perform heavy lifting when moving pets onto grooming tables or into bathing tubs
Assist with drying pets using appropriate techniques and equipment
Maintain cleanliness and organization of bathing areas and equipment
Monitor pet health and behavior during bathing to ensure their safety and comfort
Provide basic grooming services such as nail trimming or ear cleaning as needed

Skills:

Experience in animal handling, care, or grooming
Proficiency in animal restraint techniques
Ability to lift heavy pets or equipment when necessary
Strong customer service skills to interact with pet owners effectively
Knowledge of basic pet care practices and hygiene standards
Previous experience as a veterinary assistant, kennel staff, or handler is a plus

Pay:

$12.00 per hour
