Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Pet Bather to join our team. As a Pet Bather, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and well-being of our furry clients. If you have a passion for animals and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, we would love to hear from you.Duties:
- Bathe and groom pets according to specific instructions and breed requirements
- Handle and restrain animals safely and securely during bathing procedures
- Perform heavy lifting when moving pets onto grooming tables or into bathing tubs
- Assist with drying pets using appropriate techniques and equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of bathing areas and equipment
- Monitor pet health and behavior during bathing to ensure their safety and comfort
- Provide basic grooming services such as nail trimming or ear cleaning as needed
Skills:
- Experience in animal handling, care, or grooming
- Proficiency in animal restraint techniques
- Ability to lift heavy pets or equipment when necessary
- Strong customer service skills to interact with pet owners effectively
- Knowledge of basic pet care practices and hygiene standards
- Previous experience as a veterinary assistant, kennel staff, or handler is a plus
