Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Pet Bather to join our team. As a Pet Bather, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and well-being of our furry clients. If you have a passion for animals and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
  • Bathe and groom pets according to specific instructions and breed requirements
  • Handle and restrain animals safely and securely during bathing procedures
  • Perform heavy lifting when moving pets onto grooming tables or into bathing tubs
  • Assist with drying pets using appropriate techniques and equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of bathing areas and equipment
  • Monitor pet health and behavior during bathing to ensure their safety and comfort
  • Provide basic grooming services such as nail trimming or ear cleaning as needed
Skills:
  • Experience in animal handling, care, or grooming
  • Proficiency in animal restraint techniques
  • Ability to lift heavy pets or equipment when necessary
  • Strong customer service skills to interact with pet owners effectively
  • Knowledge of basic pet care practices and hygiene standards
  • Previous experience as a veterinary assistant, kennel staff, or handler is a plus
Pay:
$12.00 per hour
