Expect:

You'll be washing dogs (sometimes big ones), brushing them, and helping to hold them so the groomer can work on haircuts or nail grinding. We'll teach you how to pre-shave, clip nails, shave private areas, and perform other simple grooming tasks so you can move beyond entry-level pay and grow in your career. Be prepared for physically demanding work , as 80% of your time will be spent on your feet. You might experience soreness in your hands and back (think of it as a workout!), especially when handling large dogs. What We Expect from

You:

You must love dogs and have the strength and endurance to hold and restrain dogs (even the big ones—up to 120 lbs) during grooming procedures. Patience and empathy are great, but the physical ability to handle strong or uncooperative dogs is a must. Reliable transportation and availability to work on Wednesdays through Saturdays for full-time 8 am - 6:30( 7pm) A commitment to showing up on time and a zero-tolerance policy for drug use or skipping work irresponsibly.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely lift and handle dogs weighing up to 120 lbs. Assist groomers with bathing, drying, and brushing dogs. Restrain pets during grooming procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort. Clean and maintain grooming tools, equipment, and the work area. Provide compassionate care to all animals, treating them with kindness. Communicate effectively with the grooming team. Why Join Us?
