•35-40 Hours per week

•8/9am - 4/5pm, 5 days per week. Cat-Shelter Technician duties include, but are not limited to: Clean Cat-shelter thoroughly and provide adequate food and water. Assist with organizing volunteer staffing for the week for cat-shelter and laundry. Provide Facility tours and be involved in community engagement. Monitor animals for health issues and provide friendly interaction/socialization. Assist in other areas as needed.

Requirements:

Prior experience with animals is recommended with potential for higher pay/responsibilities. Must be comfortable working with animals, volunteers, and members of the community. Able to lift 40 pounds (our litter and food bags can be heavy!). Able to move comfortably to clean inside low kennels and floor areas. Work without direct supervision and in a complimentary way with other technicians and volunteers. Use a detail-oriented approach to ensure all tasks are completed by the end of shift. Must be 18 years old or older.
