Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Equine Caretaker/Barn Help and become a vital part of maintaining a safe, clean, and well-managed environment for our horses and farm operations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, care for horses and farm management. You will be responsible for daily horse care, barn upkeep, and supporting the overall health and safety of our farm environment. If you are energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about working with animals, this role is perfect for you! Duties Provide daily care for 30 horses including feeding, watering, turn out and bring in. Barn cleaning, bedding replacement, manure removal, and maintaining a tidy stable environment. Handle livestock management tasks such as monitoring animal health, administering basic first aid, and observing behavioral changes. Operate farm machinery including tractors, power tools, and other equipment safely in compliance with safety standards. Support pasture management activities such as mowing, planting, fencing maintenance Heavy lifting, manual handling, equipment operation, and animal handling to ensure a secure work environment. Skills Experience in equine care Strong outdoor work experience. This role offers a rewarding environment where your hands-on skills make a real difference!
