Duties Supervise dogs during playtime, ensuring safe interactions and positive socialization experiences Monitor dog behavior closely, using animal handling and restraint techniques to prevent conflicts or injuries Assist with pet boarding, feeding, grooming, and cleaning to maintain a hygienic environment Engage dogs in outdoor activities and exercise routines to promote physical health and mental stimulation Clean and sanitize all areas of the pet care facility regularly to uphold safety standards and pet health Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog's behavior, needs, and special instructions Assist with training activities such as basic obedience commands or dog training exercises to improve behavior Social media posts throughout the day Requirements Prior experience working with animals, such as veterinary technician experience, kennel work, or pet sitting roles Knowledge of animal behavior, dog handling techniques, and animal restraint methods Ability to perform heavy lifting and team lifting when handling large or multiple dogs Strong customer service skills to interact positively with pet owners and visitors Experience with pet grooming, animal care, or pet boarding is highly desirable Outdoor work experience is preferred due to the nature of the role's physical activities Commitment to maintaining cleanliness through sanitization practices specific to pet care facilities This energetic role is perfect for individuals passionate about animal welfare who thrive in active environments.
