Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Caretaker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and farm work, with hands-on experience with horses. This role is essential for the smooth operation of our facilities and the health of our animals. We are a not for profit dedicated to horse rescue and rehabilitation. We also work with returning veterans. Duties Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and monitoring their health.. clean stalls, feed the barn cats, sweep, pick paddocks Handle animals with care, ensuring their safety and comfort Maintain clean and organized work areas, including animal enclosures and storage facilities. Experience Proven experience in animal handling and care, particularly with equine or livestock. Mechanical knowledge related to farm machinery is highly desirable. Experience using power tools effectively and safely. This position requires a proactive individual who is comfortable working outdoors and has a strong commitment to animal welfare.
