Job Purpose:

We're seeking a talented and caring Pet Groomer to provide exceptional grooming services for dogs and cats. You'll enhance pet well-being and appearance while fostering a positive experience for our clients.

Responsibilities:

Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, haircuts, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and gland expression for dogs and cats. Evaluate pet condition and suggest tailored grooming techniques or products. Keep the grooming area clean, safe, and organized, maintaining sanitized tools and equipment. Engage with pet owners professionally, offering grooming tips and ensuring satisfaction. Promote grooming products or add-on services to enhance pet care and increase sales. Work with veterinary staff to spot health issues during grooming.

Qualifications:

Experience as a pet groomer (dogs and cats preferred) or a grooming certification. (Required 2+ years experience or certification) Familiarity with breed-specific grooming styles and methods. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Skill in handling pets of all temperaments with kindness and patience. Reliable transportation to Woonsocket, RI. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Must be able to pass a drug test

Schedule:

Part-time, flexible hours - room to grow

Compensation:
