This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with animals while developing valuable skills in pet handling, training, and customer service. Duties Supervise and monitor dogs during playtime, rest periods, and feeding to ensure safety and well-being Handle animals with care using proper restraint techniques to prevent injury or stress Perform pet grooming tasks such as brushing, bathing, or nail trimming to maintain cleanliness and health Provide Daycare services by feeding, walking, and engaging pets in stimulating activities Maintain cleanliness of kennels, play areas, and equipment to uphold hygiene standards Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' behavior, health status, and special needs Lift heavy items such as bags of pet food or large animals safely while following proper lifting techniques Experience Prior experience working with animals in a kennel, daycare, or veterinary setting is highly preferred.
