Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pet Bather to join our team. As a Pet Bather, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and grooming services to our furry friends. If you have a passion for animals and enjoy making them feel happy and clean, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Must be over 18 years old.

Duties:

• Must be able to lift 40lbs >
• Bathe and groom pets of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments.
• Provide gentle and thorough cleaning to pets, including their coats, ears, and paws.
• Handle animals safely and humanely, ensuring their comfort and well-being at all times.
• Use veterinary-approved shampoos and conditioners to keep pets clean and healthy.
• Assist with animal restraint, if necessary, to prevent injury or harm to both the pet and the staff.
• Clean and maintain the kennel and bathing areas to ensure a hygienic environment for pets.
• Provide exceptional customer service to pet owners, answering questions and addressing concerns in a professional and friendly manner.
• Perform heavy lifting and bending as needed to move equipment and clean supplies.
• Keep accurate records of the services performed on each pet.
• Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of animal care and pet grooming techniques.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in veterinary care and pet grooming practices.

Experience:

• Prior experience in pet grooming, animal care, or a related field is highly preferred.
• Experience with animals of all types, including dogs, cats, and small mammals.
• Familiarity with veterinary procedures and a strong understanding of animal health and wellness.
• Experience with heavy lifting and bending is essential.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners.
