Overnight Pet Sitter This is the role for someone who understands that some pets just need a person there overnight, a warm presence in the house, a familiar hand for a 2am pottybreak, someone to sit with them when the house feels too quiet. It takes the same attention to detail as our daytime roles, just in a slower, quieter form. As an Overnight Sitter, you'll settle into the home for the night and become the pet's steady companion until morning. This includes evening feeding and medication administration, quiet companionship and comfort through the night, potty breaks and monitoring for dogs, attentiveness to any signs of distress or illness, and a calm morning routine before the owner returns or the next visit begins. This is a relationship-based role built on trust. You'll be alone in a client's home overnight, and the pets in your care are depending on you to notice if something isn't right, even in the quiet hours when nothing seems to be happening. Friends, family, children, or other pets are never permitted to accompany you during a shift, and client confidentiality and the security of the home are taken as seriously as the care of the pet itself.

Pay Structure:

$90 per overnight (10-hour shift, 9pm-7am) Generous holiday pay for overnight shifts worked on holidays
