Flexible availability with strong need for weekends, holidays, mornings, evenings, and overnight pet sitting About Satisfying Strolls Satisfying Strolls is a bonded and insured professional pet care company providing dependable, loving care to pets throughout the Missouri City, Sugar Land, Sienna, and surrounding areas. We provide dog walking, in-home pet sitting, overnight pet sitting, pet taxi services, and other personalized pet care services. We are looking for responsible, trustworthy, animal-loving individuals to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who genuinely loves animals, is dependable, has a flexible schedule, and is comfortable working independently in clients' homes. What You'll Do As a Pet Sitter & Dog Walker, you may be responsible for: Completing 25-minute pet sitting visits and dog walks Feeding pets according to client instructions Providing fresh water and cleaning water bowls daily Walking dogs and providing appropriate exercise Giving pets playtime, attention, affection, and companionship Cleaning up pet accidents throughout the home Cleaning crates, litter boxes, pet areas, and soiled bedding when necessary Administering medications exactly according to client instructions Checking the front door for packages and bringing them inside Bringing in mail when requested Watering plants when requested Turning lights on or off according to client instructions Completing a final check of the home for accidents or pet-related messes Taking photos and providing updates for clients through our pet care software Making sure all doors are properly locked before leaving Following detailed client notes and care instructions Communicating immediately with the owner of Satisfying Strolls if you have a question, concern, emergency, or are unsure how to handle a situation Overnight Pet Sitting We have a particular need for contractors who are available for overnight pet sitting. Overnight sitters stay in the client's home while the client is traveling and provide ongoing care for their pets. Overnight assignments may range from one night to a week or longer. You must be comfortable staying overnight in clients' homes and caring for dogs and cats of different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. Availability We are especially looking for applicants who have availability: Friday through Sunday During busy holiday periods Thanksgiving week Throughout December and into early January Early mornings and evenings For overnight stays During school breaks and other high-travel periods Weekly Monday through Sunday Pet care is busiest when our clients are traveling, so holiday and weekend availability is extremely important. Additional weekday work may also be available.

Requirements Applicants must:

Be at least 18 years old Have reliable transportation Have a valid driver's license Have a reliable smartphone Be comfortable driving throughout our service area Be comfortable working independently Be comfortable entering and staying in clients' homes Be comfortable caring for both dogs and cats Be comfortable with large dogs Be dependable and punctual Be able to follow detailed written instructions Communicate professionally and promptly Be willing to complete a background check Have excellent attention to detail Treat clients' homes, pets, and belongings with respect Be available during at least some weekends and holidays Previous professional pet care experience is helpful but not required. Veterinary students, vet tech students, college students, experienced pet owners, and individuals with animal-care backgrounds are encouraged to apply. You should be someone who notices when something doesn't look right and isn't afraid to ask questions. Reliability is extremely important. Once you accept an assignment, our clients and their pets are depending on you to be there. Compensation This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Compensation varies depending on the type and number of pet care assignments accepted, including regular pet sitting visits, dog walks, and overnight assignments. Opportunities for additional work may become available for contractors who demonstrate excellent reliability, communication, and quality of care.
