Responsibilities:
- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, haircuts, and nail trimming for various pets
- Ensure the well-being and comfort of animals during grooming sessions
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand their preferences and provide tailored grooming services
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the grooming area
- Handle heavy lifting when necessary to assist with larger animals
- Collaborate with veterinary staff on any health or behavioral concerns observed during grooming sessions
Skills:
- Proficiency in customer service to provide a positive experience for pet owners
- Experience in pet grooming techniques and handling various animal breeds
- Knowledge of animal care best practices and basic veterinary procedures
- Ability to lift heavy pets and equipment as required
- Familiarity with dog training methods and pet sitting practices
- Previous experience as a veterinary technician or assistant is advantageous This position offers a rewarding opportunity to work closely with pets and their owners, providing essential grooming services in a caring environment.
