Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Pet Groomer to join our team! In this role, you will bring your expertise in pet grooming and animal handling to create beautiful, healthy coats while ensuring every pet feels safe, loved, and cared for. Your creativity and attention to detail will help pets look their best and leave with a wagging tail and a happy smile. Duties Perform pet grooming services including bathing, brushing, hair trimming, pet coat styling, nail trimming, and ear cleaning. Handle animals with gentle restraint techniques to ensure safety for both pets and staff. Communicate effectively with pet owners about grooming needs, preferences, and aftercare instructions. Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, including sanitation of tools and workspaces. Assist with animal handling during grooming procedures, ensuring comfort and trust are prioritized. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client questions and ensuring a positive experience. Requirements Proven experience in pet grooming Strong dog handling skills along with animal restraint expertise. Knowledge of pet coat styling, pet nail trimming, and animal care best practices. Ability to lift heavy loads safely when handling large or heavy pets. Excellent communication skills for engaging with pet owners and team members. Prior kennel experience or pet sitting background is a plus. Familiarity with veterinary experience or veterinary assistant skills is advantageous but not required.
