Overview This is a part time position working a split shift 8 AM-Noon and 4-5 evening shifts 6 PM -7 PM. Applicants should live within 15 minutes of Grand Mound, WA. Looking for someone detail oriented who can follow very specific instructions on cleaning, care, feeding, grooming, and exercise and can work independently. Responsibilities Ensure a calm and safe environment. Clean kennels, run areas, and common spaces; monitor and sanitize cages, bowls, and equipment to maintain hygiene. Assist with daily animal care tasks including feeding, basic grooming, and monitoring for health concerns; report any issues to the owner Handle dogs using proper restraint Maintain records for animal vaccinations and worming, hygiene activities, and facility cleanliness; This job is a lot of cleaning and laundry, pooper scooping, and generally doing day to day care. Must be able to lift 40 pounds regularly, be kind and nurturing, and attentive to any possible problems or illness. Must be reliable and able to communicate well. Must be able to work unsupervised. Should have a cell phone, your own car and drivers license Should have a flexible schedule Need to submit to a background check Must be available weekends and holidays , If you will not be available for Weekends and Holidays please do not apply! Pay:
