DOG DAYCARE ATTENDANT

Daycare Boarding Grooming Tiki Tails Dog Resort is looking for an energetic, dependable, and dog-loving team member to join our growing facility! We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with dogs and understands that providing a safe, clean, and fun environment takes more than simply playing with them. Our daycare team is responsible for continuously evaluating the dogs in our care, recognizing their individual needs, monitoring behavior, and helping create an environment where both our dog guests and staff can thrive. We are a daycare, boarding, and grooming facility , and we strongly value team members who are interested in learning and cross-training throughout the business. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Evaluate dogs throughout the day to ensure they are safe, healthy, comfortable, and happy in their environment. Monitor group play and recognize when dogs may need redirection, a break, or additional attention. Assist with managing unwanted behaviors through appropriate redirection and basic behavior knowledge. Initiate and complete cleaning tasks throughout the facility. Vacuum, mop, disinfect surfaces, and maintain a clean and sanitary daycare environment. Complete daily daycare to-do lists and assigned tasks . Help maintain a safe environment for both dogs and staff. Communicate concerns regarding a dog's behavior, health, or overall well-being to management. Assist with other departments and responsibilities as training and business needs allow. Participate in cross-training opportunities in daycare, boarding, grooming support, and other areas of the facility .

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone who is: Energetic and genuinely loves dogs. Reliable and dependable. Punctual and takes their responsibilities seriously. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Willing to learn and take direction. Comfortable being on their feet and actively working for 4-6 hours at a time . Interested in growing with a company rather than simply looking for a temporary job.

REQUIREMENTS

Must be a morning person. Shifts may begin as early as 6:30 AM . Must be available to work occasional weekends . Must be available around major holidays. Must have reliable transportation. Must be dependable and punctual. Must be comfortable working around groups of dogs and performing physical cleaning duties.

EXPERIENCE PREFERRED

Previous dog daycare, kennel, veterinary, grooming, training, or animal-care experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person . Knowledge of basic dog training and behavior is preferred. You will encounter unwanted behaviors at times, and the ability to recognize those behaviors and appropriately redirect a dog is an important part of this position. You should also be comfortable with routine cleaning responsibilities, including: Vacuuming Mopping Surface disinfecting General facility cleaning and organization

COMPENSATION
