We are looking for a focused, positive person that has the skills to manage dogs in a structured setting. You will be spending most of your day monitoring and engaging with dogs in an indoor and outdoor training space. A little bit of your time will also go toward helping care for a few wildlife rehab patients on-site, so any interest in wildlife especially reptiles, is a bonus. • Bonus points if you have any interest in wildlife rehab or reptiles, we care for a small group of wildlife rehabilitation patients on-site and love when team members are curious about them too!

Puppy Academy Support Staff Responsibilities Transport dogs safely in the Goldstar Puppy Academy "school bus" van. Work independently to carry out duties like taking dogs outside to potty, walking dogs on leash, feeding, preparing food toys, bathing and blow drying dogs when needed, monitoring dog to dog interactions, rewarding desirable behavior and providing company to dogs that are staying here for training. Keep daily records as required and communicate any medical or behavioral concerns to management. Organize the work space, clean and disinfect as needed, this includes basic care and enclosure cleaning for our wildlife rehab patients. Learn the basics of dog behavior so you can encourage good behavior and avoid rewarding undesirable behavior in your daily interactions with the dogs. Don't worry, we'll teach you! This position requires physical movement like bending, crouching and occasional lifting of objects 45lbs or less. You also must be able to handle large dogs that may pull on leash. Take videos and photos with an iPhone and create content in the form of reels, longer form videos and written posts for our social media accounts.
