Position Summary Radda's K9 Campus is seeking a reliable, dog-loving Front Office Support & Kennel Technician to serve as the first point of contact for clients while also providing hands-on care for boarding, and training guests. This dual role blends customer service with animal care, requiring someone who is comfortable multitasking between the front desk and the kennel floor. The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, physically capable of animal handling, and passionate about providing a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for pets and their owners. Key Responsibilities Front Office Duties
Greet clients and pets warmly upon arrival and departure
Answer phones, respond to emails, and manage online booking inquiries
Check pets in and out for boarding, daycare, and training appointments
Process payments, manage invoices, and maintain accurate client records
Schedule and confirm appointments; manage waitlists as needed
Maintain vaccination records and ensure compliance documentation is current
Handle client concerns or complaints professionally, escalating when necessary
Keep the lobby and front office area clean, organized, and presentable Kennel Technician Duties
Feed, water, and administer medications to boarding and daycare dogs per client instructions
Clean and sanitize kennels, runs, bowls, and common areas throughout the day
Walk, exercise, and supervise dogs in play groups, monitoring for signs of stress, illness, or aggression
Observe and report any changes in behavior, appetite, or health to management
Safely handle dogs of varying sizes, temperaments, and energy levels
Assist with laundry, dishes, and general facility upkeep
Support grooming and training staff with animal handling as needed
Follow all safety and disinfection protocols to prevent illness spread (e.g., kennel cough) Qualifications
Previous experience in a kennel, veterinary, grooming, or customer service setting preferred
Genuine love of dogs and comfort handling animals of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments
Physical ability to lift 40+ lbs, stand for extended periods, and work outdoors in varying weather
Reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends/holidays as needed Work Environment This role requires moving between a front office setting and an active kennel environment.
Exposure to pet dander, noise, and varying odors is expected. Employees must follow all facility safety, sanitation, and animal-handling protocols at all times.
Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
