Job Description

Kranky K9 Dog Training Our Pet care team delivers the utmost care and attention for our guests, whether they are with us for a few days or a few weeks. You may handle everything from walking dogs, feeding and administering medicines, cleaning, laundry, playing with dogs, and loving them as if they were your own. You will document observations for each guest and be ready to share them with Your manager, supervisor, and team. You may be part of our boarding team, making overnight guests feel like this is their home away from home. Perhaps you are part of our daycare team, making sure everyone in the group is safe, having fun, and getting along well. You might snuggle a shy pup who needs some special attention, help a them to feel more comfortable in a new environment, or give a bath to a pup who has had a blast on our large field. We're a training based facility, so you will learn the ins and outs of all things dogs.

  • 6:00am-12:00pm Wednesday
  • 6:00am-12:00pm Thursday
  • 6:00am-12:00pm Friday
  • 6:00am-12:00pm (24 hrs a week)
Requirements:
Must love dogs Must be passionate about the care you provide to our pups Has the ability to work as a team and assist other departments as needed Customer service oriented Have a friendly, and positive attitude towards yourself, our guests, your teammates, leadership, and pet parents. Is reliable, punctual, and dependable
  • your team relies on you, and so do our guests and pet parents Ability to work a part-time schedule, including holidays Be comfortable around dogs of all breeds and physically able to handle dogs of all sizes and lift up to 50lbs.
Be able to work on your feet for 8 hours and work in hot/ cold/ humid/ rainy midwest weather Any prior experience is preferred Computer savvy will need to learn our Gingr operating system Can take doggy daycare video and post to our Kranky K9 Facebook page Work in a fast pace environment with loud barking, cleaning (yes this includes picking up dog poop), and patience Work Remotely No Responsibilities include Provide daily care for dogs, including feeding, grooming, and exercising. Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of kennel facilities. Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to management. Assist with dog training and socialization as needed. Offer exceptional customer service to pet owners, addressing inquiries and concerns. Maintain accurate records of animal care and services provided. Handle animals safely and effectively, employing proper restraint techniques when necessary. The schedule for this position is Tuesday 6:30am-12:30pm Wednesday Thursday, and Friday 9am-6pm (1 hour lunch break)
