Job Description

We are hiring for our Clarence location ( daycare and kennel attendant) Our Shifts are usually 4-6 hours and must be available weekends, holidays and to help with our late night let out for the kennel location (8:30pm-10pm) a few times a week.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and monitor dogs in a daycare setting to ensure their safety and well-being
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary environment for the dogs
  • Feed and administer medications to dogs as instructed
  • Monitor and report any changes in behavior or health of the dogs
Experience:
  • Previous experience working with dogs in a professional setting, such as a dog daycare, kennel, or veterinary clinic is preferred but not necessary
  • Some Knowledge of dog behavior and body language
  • Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments safely and confidently
  • Basic understanding of pet care
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, such as bags of dog food or crates ( at least 40 lbs)
Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure the safety and well-being of the dogs
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Patience and compassion when working with dogs who may be anxious or fearful
  • Knowledge of basic first aid for dogs is a plus.
