Job Overview Join our dynamic pet care team as a Dog Daycare Attendant and Canine Coach! In this energetic role, you will be the heart of our dog daycare facility, ensuring a safe, engaging, and loving environment for our canine guests. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help dogs thrive through active play, socialization, and personalized care. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with animals, promote positive behavior, and contribute to a vibrant pet community. Duties Supervise daily play sessions, ensuring all dogs are safe, happy, and well-behaved during interactions Assist with dog handling, animal restraint, and behavior management to promote positive socialization Clean and sanitize all areas of the facility regularly to maintain pet care facility standards and ensure a hygienic environment Support pet boarding and pet sitting services by providing attentive care and monitoring for overnight or extended stays Educate pet owners on dog training techniques, pet grooming, and animal behavior to enhance their understanding of canine needs Assist with outdoor activities such as walks or supervised play in outdoor enclosures, ensuring safety at all times Perform light kennel duties including feeding, administering medications if needed, and maintaining animal comfort Experience Prior veterinary experience or veterinary technician experience is highly desirable to understand animal health needs Experience in pet sitting or pet care facilities demonstrates your ability to handle diverse canine personalities Dog training or animal behavior knowledge helps in fostering good manners and social skills among dogs Kennel experience provides insight into animal handling, cleaning routines, and facility sanitization practices Physical ability for heavy lifting and team lifting is essential for moving supplies or assisting with larger dogs Customer service skills are important for communicating effectively with pet owners and providing excellent support Outdoor work experience enhances your capability to supervise active outdoor play safely Join us in creating a lively, caring environment where dogs can learn, play, and flourish! Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
