Part-Time, Daytime Shifts About Us Mind Your Dog 2, LLC is a locally owned dog daycare and boarding facility in Middletown, RI, dedicated to providing safe, fun, and loving care for our furry guests. We're looking for a responsible, dog-loving individual to join our team as an Overnight Dog Daycare Attendant to help ensure our boarders are comfortable, safe, and well cared for through the night. Position Summary The Dog Daycare Attendant is responsible for the safety and well-being of dogs in our care throughout the day. This includes supervising playgroups, handling feeding and bathroom breaks, and keeping the facility clean and safe for all our furry guests. Responsibilities Supervise and monitor dogs in playgroups to ensure their safety and comfort Conduct regular check-ins and welfare checks throughout the day Provide scheduled bathroom breaks/yard time Feed dogs and administer medications according to individual care instructions Clean and sanitize kennels, play areas, and common spaces as needed Respond calmly and appropriately to any behavioral issues, anxiety, or conflicts between dogs Monitor for signs of illness or distress and alert management immediately if needed Maintain accurate daily logs and incident reports Ensure all doors, gates, and kennels are properly secured at all times Assist with check-in/check-out procedures and communicate with dog owners as needed Qualifications Genuine love for dogs and experience handling multiple dogs/breeds Prior experience in a dog daycare, boarding, veterinary, or animal care setting preferred Comfortable managing playgroups of varying sizes and energy levels Strong observational skills and sound judgment in handling dog behavior Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy Physically able to walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 40 lbs Must be at least 18 years of age Reliable transportation to our Middletown, RI location Schedule Part-time daytime shifts, [insert specific hours, e.g., 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM]. Availability on weekends and holidays is a plus. Compensation Pay based on experience
