Facility Manager Position Overview Casa Canine Pet Hotel is seeking a reliable and compassionate Part-Time Pet Care Attendant to join our team. You'll provide direct care and supervision for dogs in our cage-free daycare and boarding environment. This role is perfect for someone who loves animals and enjoys a fast-paced, rewarding weekend commitment.

Key Responsibilities Animal Care:

Provide hands-on supervision and care for 10-40 dogs daily, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being

Feeding & Hydration:

Prepare and serve meals according to owner specifications; monitor and maintain fresh water throughout the facility

Facility Cleaning:

Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe environment; clean food/water bowls, refresh bedding, and perform spot cleaning as needed

Behavioral Monitoring:

Observe dogs for signs of illness, injury, stress, or behavioral issues; report concerns to management immediately

Dog Interaction:

Engage dogs in play and socialization; monitor group dynamics in cage-free areas

Documentation:

Record feeding times, behavior observations, and any incidents or concerns

Boarding Support:

Assist with check-in/check-out procedures; communicate with owners about their dogs' time at

Casa Canine Safety Protocols:

Adhere to all facility safety and health protocols; properly handle emergency situations Required Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old Genuine love for animals and demonstrated experience with dogs Physical ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs and work in a standing/active environment Reliable transportation and punctual attendance Ability to remain calm and patient under pressure Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Basic communication skills and ability to work as a team member Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in veterinary medicine, grooming, dog training, or pet care Knowledge of dog behavior and body language First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) Experience in customer service or client interaction Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, and bending Ability to lift and handle dogs up to 50+ lbs Comfortable working in various weather conditions (covered areas available) May encounter allergens and animal waste

Pay:

$13.00 - $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 16.0 - 32.0 per week
