Support veterinary teams with tasks like animal handling, veterinary technician assistance, or basic animal care routines. Maintain outdoor work responsibilities including pet exercise, outdoor play sessions, and yard clean-up to promote healthy activity. Communicate effectively with pet owners about their pets' needs, behaviors, and daily activities to build trust and rapport. Perform heavy lifting when necessary to transport supplies or assist with animal mobility needs. Requirements Prior experience in animal handling, pet sitting, or dog walking is highly preferred. Knowledge of dog training techniques and animal behavior principles is a plus. Experience working with veterinary professionals as a veterinary technician or assistant is advantageous. Familiarity with equine care or outdoor work environments is beneficial. Ability to handle multiple pets safely while demonstrating patience and attentiveness.
