Job Overview We are seeking a talented and energetic Hairstylist Makeup Artist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will craft stunning hairstyles and flawless makeup looks for our diverse clientele, ensuring each guest leaves feeling confident and beautiful. Your creativity, technical skill, and excellent customer service will help elevate our salon's reputation as a premier destination for beauty and self-care. Responsibilities Perform professional hairstyling services including cutting, coloring, styling, hair extensions, and special occasion updos. Apply makeup for various occasions such as weddings, photoshoots, or everyday beauty enhancement. Use salon software such as vagaro to schedule appointments, update client records, and manage bookings efficiently. Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas in accordance with industry regulations. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide expert recommendations, and ensure satisfaction. Stay current with the latest trends in hair styling and makeup application by continuing education and industry research. Upsell products and services to enhance client experience and support store management goals. Qualifications Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a hairstylist and makeup artist with a strong portfolio of work. Knowledge of hair care products, hair coloring techniques, hair extensions, and styling tools including straight razors. Certification in cosmetology or barbering from an accredited program; additional training in makeup application is a plus. Familiarity with salon management software such as Vagaro or similar platforms. Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with clients and understand their vision. Commitment to sanitation standards, safety protocols, and ongoing professional development. Ability to mentor junior team members and contribute positively to a collaborative work environment.
