In this role, you will deliver exceptional hair care, styling, and grooming services that leave clients feeling confident and refreshed. Your expertise in hair coloring, extensions, and barbering techniques will help create personalized looks tailored to each individual's style. As a key member of our salon, you'll foster positive client relationships through outstanding customer service, effective communication, and professional advice. Duties Provide professional hair styling, cutting, coloring, and grooming services for diverse client needs Perform specialized treatments such as hair extensions and makeup application to enhance client looks Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene according to industry regulations and store policies Engage with clients through effective communication to understand their preferences and offer expert recommendations Upsell additional services and retail products to maximize client satisfaction and salon revenue Mentor junior team members on techniques such as straight razor shaving, hair care routines, and color theory Make your own schedule Experience Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a cosmetologist or barber with a strong portfolio of work Knowledge of hair care products, hair coloring techniques, and advanced styling methods Skilled in barbering techniques including straight razor shaves and traditional grooming styles Ability to communicate clearly with clients to ensure their needs are met while building lasting relationships Strong understanding of sanitation practices, store management procedures, and customer service excellence
