Responsibilities Provide exceptional hair cutting, coloring, styling, and finishing services Create a welcoming, professional experience for every guest Conduct thorough consultations and make appropriate service and product recommendations Build strong, lasting relationships with guests Maintain and grow your clientele through rebooking, referrals, and salon-supported marketing Participate in continued education, coaching, team meetings, and professional development Work collaboratively with the salon team and contribute to a positive, supportive environment Maintain a clean, organized, professional workspace Represent the standards, culture, and guest experience of A Spencer Gellise Salon Be open to feedback, goal-setting, and continued personal and professional growth Experience Holds a current Michigan cosmetology license Has at least 1 year of experience behind the chair; 2+ years preferred Is confident in both cutting and color services Has an existing clientele or experience building and retaining clientele Is motivated to continue growing their income and career Is professional, dependable, and guest-focused Enjoys working as part of a team Values continued education, coaching, and feedback Has strong communication and consultation skills Is comfortable recommending professional retail products Has extension experience or an interest in extensions — a plus, but not required Why A Spencer Gellise Salon?
